Storyline

This teenage sitcom is named after its main character, likable but sissy schoolgirl Blossom Russo. It centers around her life at school and at home, where she lives with her single father, charming musician Nick Russo, who tries hard to be an exemplary parent, and her two elder brothers, the cool Anthony, the eldest, and sweet but rather weak and naive Joey. Her best friend, Six LeMeure, who is educationally neglected at her home and thus is almost always around at the Russos as well as at school, is the voice of mischief and thus often her partner in crime. Trivia

Though the original concept of the show was for Blossom to have a hip, single musician dad the executives insisted she have two parents in the pilot. After a great deal of fighting with show producers the network caved and the show went back to the original idea, casting Ted Wass as Blossom's single musician dad. See more »

i discovered blossom when i was at home years ago off sick from school and ever since i was hooked! I loved the character of her brother joey. he always made me crack up just because he was so dumb! i also really liked the character vinnie in show (purely because of his good looks!!) i'm surprised that most of the people i talk to either dont like the show or havent even heard of it! I love it and still watch the re runs whenever they were on.
