Goofs

Ahab references William Ernest Henley's poem "Invictus" written in 1875 (by talking about "masters of your fate, and captains of your souls"). But this version of "Moby Dick" takes place before 1861, because Pip is a runaway slave. See more »

Moby Dick Part 2
14 November 2018 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Captain Ahab is gripped with madness. He is after the great white rather than just go whaling.

Ahab pays no heed to the concerns of his crew and morale is low.

Finally there is a showdown between Ahab and Moby Dick.

An appalling mini series. Hammy acting from Hurt, to think he was once nominated for best actor Oscars three years running. The rest of the actors were too bland and really only the CGI whale made a lasting impression as he headed towards the ship.

A poor script and poor direction did not help matters,
